Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use Volleyball Coach: the app for Android and iOS, the web app at vcoach.net/app, shared statistics links and the website vcoach.net. Volleyball Coach is offered by Fortega IT Solutions BV, Itterplein 4, 3960 Opitter, Belgium, company number BE0839346443 ("we", "us"). You can reach us at info@fortega.be.

By using Volleyball Coach, you agree to these terms. How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy.

1. Your account

You can use the app as a guest or with an account. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for what happens with your account. Give a correct email address, so we can reach you about your account and subscription.

Volleyball Coach is made for coaches. If you are under 16, use it only with permission from a parent or guardian.

2. Free and paid features

The free version lets you manage teams, players, games, formations and exercises within the limits shown in the app, and includes scouting analysis for a limited number of games. Pro unlocks more, such as unlimited teams, scouting analysis and video scouting for every game, and synchronization across devices. Members of a club with a club subscription get Pro through their club. The app shows what each option includes before you buy it.

We keep improving Volleyball Coach and may add, change or remove features. When we remove a paid feature you are paying for, we tell you in advance.

3. Subscriptions and payment

• Subscriptions are sold and paid through Google Play or the Apple App Store. The price, the renewal period and any free trial are shown in the store before you confirm the purchase.
• A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, unless you cancel it before the renewal date; in the App Store, at least 24 hours before. A free trial turns into a paid subscription unless you cancel it before the trial ends.
• You cancel or manage a subscription in the store where you bought it. After you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
• Refunds are handled by the store, under its refund rules. Your rights under consumer law are not affected.
• If we change the price of a subscription, the store tells you before the new price applies. You can cancel before that moment.

If you got the app from the Apple App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If it conflicts with these terms, these terms apply where the law allows.

4. Clubs

The owner of a club decides who becomes a member and which roles they have. Teams, games and scouting data shared with a club are visible to its members, and can stay available to the club after a member leaves. When a club subscription ends, its members lose the Pro features they got through the club.

5. Your content

You keep all rights to what you enter in Volleyball Coach, such as teams, players, games, formations, exercises and scouting data. You allow us to store, copy and show that content only as far as needed to run the service for you: for example to synchronize it, back it up, show it to your club or show it through a link you share.

Player names, photos and ratings are information about other people, often young athletes. Make sure you are allowed to enter and share them, for example with permission from the players or their parents where required.

Match videos you scout from a file stay on your device. When you scout from a YouTube video, YouTube's terms apply to that video. Only use videos you are allowed to watch and use.

6. Shared links and exercises

Anyone who has a statistics link or an exercise code you shared can open it, without an account. You decide what you share and with whom. You can withdraw a statistics link in the app at any time.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use Volleyball Coach to:

• break the law or the rights of others, including privacy and copyright;
• share content that is offensive, harassing or harmful;
• gain access to other people's accounts or data;
• disrupt, overload or attack the service, or copy, resell or reverse engineer it, except where the law allows this.

If you break these rules, we may remove the content concerned, or suspend or close your account. Unless the situation is urgent, we tell you first.

8. Availability

We do our best to keep Volleyball Coach available and your data safe, but we cannot promise that the service will always work without interruptions or errors. Data stored only on your device, such as data used without Pro or a club, is lost when you remove the app or lose the device, unless you have a copy.

9. Liability

Volleyball Coach supports your coaching; the decisions on and off the court are yours. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage, such as lost results or lost data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the damage occurred. These limits do not apply to damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, and they do not affect rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.

10. Ending your use

You can stop using Volleyball Coach at any time, and delete your account in the app from the account menu with Delete account. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription: cancel it in the store where you bought it. We may end the service, or your use of it, with reasonable notice, or immediately in case of serious misuse.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when we add features or when the law changes. When we do, we change the "Last updated" date above. For important changes, we tell you in the app or by email before they apply. If you keep using Volleyball Coach after a change, the updated terms apply.

12. Applicable law and disputes

These terms are governed by Belgian law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you can bring a dispute before the courts of that country. Please contact us first, so we can try to solve the problem together.
